Proposed Contractor Licensing for Peoria County

This proposed Peoria County Ordinance has been approved by the Peoria County Land Use Committee and is headed for a vote by the Peoria County Board at its meeting on Thursday, April 8 at 6:00 pm.

This Ordinance raises many areas of concern for HBAGP members. It affects ALL members, not just builders and remodelers. If you are doing business in Peoria County on homes covered by a building permit … your company will be required to obtain a Peoria County License to do that work. Booths cannot be reserved by phone, and we cannot hold space with only a verbal commitment. To reserve your space, you must return the Booth Contract along with the minimum 50% deposit. Actual location is assigned based on your set up time requirements.
